#REMOVE HP PRINTER UTILITY DRIVER#
Ive been limping along with the generic Windows printer driver which allows most print features but none of the other Scan, OCR, etc features this printer is capable of doing. My HP C7250 seems to be fully installed now for the first time in 3 years. All remnants of HP Deskjet software should be removed. Apparently, Kyoceras uninstall utility works whereas HPs fails for their own product. Restart your computer to allow the installation to finish. Select “OK” and the driver will be completely removed from your PC. You can select “Remove driver only” or “Remove driver and driver package”. Remove the driver package by selecting the correct option. Navigate to the “Drivers” tab and find the correct HP product that you installed on your PC. Right-click on the name of the computer in the list that appears and selects the “Properties” option. Double-click the print servers option listed in the left pane. Click “Print Manager” in the new window that appears. Double-click the name of your printer in the list of programs, and then click Yes to uninstall the software. Search Windows for Uninstall a program, and then click Uninstall a program in the list of results. Open “Start” and in the search box type “print”. Uninstall the HP software using Programs and Features. Turn off the HP printer if it is still connected to the computer and disconnect the printer’s USB connection on the computer. It will verify that you want to completely uninstall the Deskjet software and driver.
Follow the steps on the screen with your HP uninstall tool. Look for the HP Deskjet All-in-One Driver Software in the list of available programs. In the “Control Panel” select “Add / Remove. Click “Start” followed by “Control Panel”.

Just because HP sucks and it hides its HP Utility app somewhere, doesn’t mean you cannot install the redundant program. Got a new Espon printer after my HP dies, but I can’t seem to remove the HP Utility in my LaunchPad… Took a while for me to figure out.
